What you’ll learn to do: Subtract whole numbers
It’s always good to be prepared! Next week you have a really busy schedule, and you want to make sure you’ll have an easy-to-grab breakfast. Your roommate tells you that he went grocery shopping after work and bought 10 cups of yogurt for you, and you know you’ll eat one cup each day this week. To figure out many will be left over after your busy week, you can use subtraction to calculate the difference between how many were purchased and how many you plan to eat.
Before you get started in this module, try a few practice problems and review prior concepts.
