When you think of journalism and reporting, you may have visions of fast-talking reporters like Rosalind Russell in His Girl Friday, banging away on an old Underwood typewriter in hopes of getting the story in before the late edition goes to print.
Nowadays, we can reach an even larger audience, instantly, from our phones. Social media apps like Twitter and Facebook have changed the way we communicate publicly, and have even changed the way we read and write the news.
What hasn’t changed is the public nature of these forms of communication, and the need to think for careful consideration of what one wants to share with the world at large.
