This includes email alerts, software updates, and notifications that may distract you or show up on the screen for those you are interviewing with to see.<\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Make sure your laptop or tablet is <strong>fully charged<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Dress professionally<\/strong> from head to toe.<\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Do your interview from a room that is <strong>well-lit.<\/strong> Keep your <strong>background professional<\/strong> and free of distractions.<\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Organize your materials<\/strong>, such as your resume, cover letter, and questions you want to ask the employer,\u00a0<strong>around your screen<\/strong> so that you do not have to look away from the screen or shuffle through papers.<\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Maintain good <strong>eye contact<\/strong>.
