If she\u2019s online and lands on a website, she\u2019s looking for a list of functions and qualities that are not unlike those we\u2019ve already talked about . . . they\u2019re built into the ecommerce platform to help the shoppers understand the type of product they're going to get at this site, find what she\u2019s looking for (and a whole lot more), and see examples of how she can use the products you offer.\r\n\r\nAn appealing retail website isn\u2019t about looks, it\u2019s about shoppability. Here are some of the qualities that make an ecommerce site shoppable.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><strong>Ease of Use.<\/strong> This is the number one thing shoppers are looking for in an ecommerce site: they want it to be easy to use.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Hi-res photos.<\/strong> Shoppers are looking for multiple views of an item in hi-res, so they can see every detail. And we should mention that those hi-res pictures should not take a long time to load. That means that your site won\u2019t come up near the top in a Google search.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Free shipping.<\/strong> Is it worth it?
