Why It Matters: ¿Necesito un suéter?

A great way to practice your Spanish is to have a conversation with people that you meet while you are shopping. Talking to salespeople can help you practice the vocabulary you will learn in this module.

Here are a few songs to try on before you step out into the module—can you see what these titles have in common?”

We will also learn about the weather in this module which is useful when you talk to other people. Instead of just saying it’s “hot” or “cold” when somebody asks you about the weather, you can get very descriptive. For example, in the video below pay attention to the image chosen for the song playing. Is the image clear, or is it blurry? Is it dark or bright? What emotions can you feel with the music? Now, read the title. Can guess what it means?

Santiago Vazquez – Nublado
Santiago Vazquez is a musician from Argentina who works in a variety of genres, including tango, jazz, electronic, and Afro beat.
