Your partner in class has won a spotlight in the University’s newsletter as the top student of the semester and it is your job to interview him/her/them for the article. Follow the steps below to complete the task.

Paso 1: Talk to a classmate using the following guided questionnaire as well as adding 5 more questions you would like to ask. Be sure to take notes on what your partner says.

3. ¿Cuántos años tienes?
4. ¿Cuál es la fecha de tu cumpleaños?
5. ¿Cuántas clases tomas este semestre?
6. ¿Cuántos créditos tomas este semestre?
7. ¿Cuáles son tus clases este semestre?
8. ¿Qué clases tomas los lunes, martes, …etc?
9. ¿Qué clases necesitas tomar el próximo semestre?
10. ¿Cuál es tu clase favorita?
11. ¿Qué clases tomas los lunes, martes, …etc?
12. ¿Cuál es tu día favorito de la semana?
13. ¿Cuál es tu peor (worst) día de la semana?
14. ¿A qué hora es tu primera clase los lunes, martes…etc?
15. ¿Cuál es tu especialidad académica?
16. ¿Trabajas?  ¿Dónde?
17. ¿Cuántas horas trabajas por semana?
18. ¿Qué haces para pasarla bien o divertirte? (for fun)?

Paso 2: Using the information you have collected from the interview, write a paragraph of 60-100 words to describe the daily lives of yourself and your partner.

“Mi vida y la de mi compañero como estudiantes universitarios”

Paso 3: Edit your paragraph:

1. Do you properly introduce your partner as an introduction sentence?
2. Is your paragraph logically organized or do you skip from one idea to the next?
3. Do your -ar verbs agree with the subject?
4. Did you check your spelling, punctuation, and capitalization?
5. Did you write 60-100 words?
