In this section, we’ll learn vocabulary about studying at the university.

You may not find all of your classes and academic interests, or even your major, in the list of active vocabulary for the section. Don’t worry! The point here is to learn how to talk about the university, but not necessarily to learn about all possible courses of study. Also, as you’ll learn in the cultura section at the end of the module, academic subjects often don’t translate exactly between university systems. You may find you need to improvise in order to explain your academic path– which is an important language skill in itself!
