Introduction to ¿Cuál es tu comida favorita?

Eso es pan comido.

Needless to say, the most important reason to learn a language is to be able to talk about food. In this section, we’ll learn vocabulary related to foods, cooking, and eating. Equally importantly, we’ll learn to talk about which foods (and other things) we like and don’t like. As you’ll see, liking things in Spanish is a little trickier than liking to do things (gustar + infinitive). That’s because we have to conjugate gustar for the thing or things liked, rather than the one liking them. Don’t worry, though: Eso es pan comido (Lit. “It’s eaten bread”: It’s a piece of cake).
