You may notice that descriptions of the weather in Spanish are often formed quite differently from those in English or other languages you may know. For one thing, in Spanish the weather \"does\" more than in English: rather than the verb \"to be\" (It <strong>is<\/strong> hot. The weather <strong>is<\/strong> good), many weather phrases in Spanish use the verb <span lang=\"es\"><em>hacer:<\/em><\/span>\u00a0\"to do\" or \"to make\" (<span lang=\"es\"><strong>Hace<\/strong> calor.\u00a0<strong>Hace<\/strong> buen tiempo<\/span>).
