Hello and welcome to Survey of World Religions online for the Summer 2018 VB session!  I am Dr. John McLean and I am the instructor for the course.  Here, in the “Course Information” section you will be able to download the syllabus for the class.  Make sure you read the syllabus thoroughly!  It has all the instructions you will need for completing the assignments in this course.  Then, after you have read the syllabus, you can get started on the work for Module #1.  If you click on Module #1 you will see all the assignments for this module.  All these assignments are due by 11:59pm on July 15th and you can get started on them right away. 

PLEASE NOTE: You do not have to buy a textbook for this class.  All the readings will be available for free online.  The Herkimer Bookstore may have had a textbook listed as required for this class but you do not need to buy or use that textbook!

On the Learning Modules menu you can also see the schedule for the course and when each module will be due.  If you click on the module you can see the assignments for that module as well.  You can get started on this work at any time.  If you have any questions about anything, please contact me using the “Messages” link.  Thanks, and I’m looking forward to a great session!
