<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s2\">is a process of exchange where there is desire and motivation on the part of those involved to get to know each other as individuals. <\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">Confirming and Disconfirming Climates <\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong><span class=\"s3\">Confirming climates <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s2\">when we receive messages that demonstrate our value and worth from those with whom we have a relationship. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong><span class=\"s3\">Disconfirming Climates <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s2\">when we receive messages that suggest we are devalued and unimportant. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong><span class=\"s3\">Recognition
