FOCUS 2 is an online career and education planning system which will assess your interests, personality, skills, and values.

• To access FOCUS 2, go to http://www.nvcc.edu/alumni/career/resources.html.

• There, you will find the FOCUS 2 button to access the site. If you are a first time user, you will need to register using the access code: NOVA. Be sure to use your VCCS student email. Your status is: ELI – SDV 100 student. (A handout is provided under “Getting Started” on the NOVA webpage.)

• It is highly encouraged that you view the FOCUS 2 Online Career and College Major Planning Presentation under “Learn More” prior to completing the assessments to gain a better understanding of the purpose of career exploration and what the FOCUS 2 resource can help you with.
