For this discussion, you’ll need to find someone who is willing to listen to you explain an organic chemistry concept for a little bit – a friend, family member, or maybe a classmate.
- Pick one of these concepts and do your best to explain it to this person:
a) Saturated vs. unsaturated hydrocarbons
b) Isomers (trans and cis, or otherwise)
c) Resonance
2. Now record a question that came up from your audience (or from you) as while you were teaching the topic. (If no direct questions came up, record any question that you might have about one of these topics.)
3. Finally, do your best to answer one of your classmates questions posted above.
