Health Behaviors develop over time and they shape our lives and those we surround ourselves with. Some challenging health behaviors to overcome are explained previously, including HIV/AIDS, obesity, drug and alcohol abuse, and the use of e-cigarettes. To overcome these challenges, we need to determine healthy behaviors that will prevent any of these hardships. These problems are easily preventable and are much harder to overcome once the behavior becomes routine. Through the use of public policy and community level interventions, we can stop these issues from occurring. Distribution of condoms, access to healthy food, programs on how to stay away from drugs, and education about e-cigarettes can help diminish these learned behaviors. The socio-ecological model is a beneficial framework to determine how to reduce these challenges and how to solve these issues once they are prevalent.
