This chapter has attempted to convey the wonders, shortcomings, and manifold complexities of LGBTQ+ film and media. Like raw film, it has been sliced, diced, and rearranged to fit into the narrow confines of its container.  Writing a sole chapter on a single topic means resigning oneself to making painful and arbitrary exclusions; I hope that the links and suggested readings/viewings that accompany it offer helpful paths to further, deeper exploration for readers.
