Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike: This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work non-commercially, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms.

It is a combination of the rights & restrictions of CC BY-NC and CC BY-SA.

How to Use CC BY-NC-SA Sources in Lumen Courses

OER material with a CC BY-NC-SA license allows you to apply any of the 5R’s (reuse, revise, remix, redistribute, and retain) to it, so long as its done without commercial gain.  You can copy & paste it straight into Lumen texts; you can adapt it; or you can remix it with other CC sources (except CC ND).
