We’ve already seen how to say we like doing things—gustar + infinitive does the trick: Me gusta trepar árboles (I like to climb trees). As you’ll see, liking things in Spanish is a little trickier than liking to do things (gustar + infinitive). That’s because we have to conjugate gustar for the thing or things liked, rather than the one liking them. In the next section, we’ll learn how to do that.
