If you have a mobile device, you are probably familiar with notifications. You probably get push notifications to your mobile device when you receive a text message or when someone interacts with you on a social media site like facebook or twitter.

You may someday work for an organization that uses many cloud computing applications that give you the option to turn notifications on or off for each of those applications. You may be able to configure notifications on both your desktop computer and mobile device.
