The assignments for Concepts in Statistics are typically centered around a dataset that the student uses in conjunction with a statistics package. The activity has the student explore the dataset, generate descriptive statistics and appropriate graphs from the data, and interpret the output. Instructions are provided for five different statistics packages:

  • R
  • StatCrunch
  • Minitab
  • Excel
  • TI Calculator
