Introduction to Workers and Unions

What you’ll learn to do: Explain why and how workers join unions notes that “the labor movement in the United States grew out of the need to protect the common interest of workers.”[1] In this section, we’ll discuss the worker interests that unions serve and the unionization process, including organizing and contract negotiation.
