Step 3: Choose two of your classmates’ speech topics and suggest an attention-getter they might use to start their speech. Consider the 8 types of attention-getters we covered in this module. Should your classmate’s speech start with a rhetorical question?   A startling statistic? Perhaps a current or historical event?
