Distributing Exports (EPUB & PDF) of Lumen Courses

Typically, institutions work with Lumen to make sure good PDF and EPUB exports are generated for their courses, and then load those export files in their LMS for delivery to students and other users, providing directions like those below.

FYI: Exports for Amazon Kindle

Currently, exports in Amazon Kindle’s native MOBI format do not include citations and/or images, so we recommend an alternative path for Kindle use via PDF as in the directions below. Kindle may move toward EPUB in the near future anyway, making the MOBI format unnecessary.
