For many years, family is the center of your life. Being able to share things about your family and learn about the families of your friends and classmates is a basic, common conversation you will have. Additionally, you can learn many interesting things about a culture through concepts of family — for example how any given society takes care of its elderly or up to what age do young adults generally live at home. This lesson will give you some of the basics words and ideas you will need to be able to discuss your own family and to ask questions about family life in the Spanish-speaking world.
