As you learned, in Spanish, the ability to talk about the time is a very useful tool. A very similar skill is the ability to express what day/date it is. Just as with the time, being able to talk about the date/days of the week allows you to make plans, talk more about your own routine, habits and important moments or days in your life.

Melchor Play Audio Hoy es el 23 de noviembre.
Luisa Play Audio ¿Cuándo tienes la clase de arte?
Melchor Play Audio Tengo la clase los martes a las seis de la tarde.
