Introductions are another important part of simple conversations. When you are introducing yourself or someone else, you usually follow a fixed pattern. First, you provide information about yourself—usually your name—or about the person you are introducing. Secondly, you show that you are pleased to meet the other person. What normally follows is a brief interchange of basic questions and answers. For example, you might ask where the other person works or studies and provide the same information about yourself.
At the bus stop:
